My Story
My name is Lorenzo Gualtieri. I am a 26-year-old racing driver from Johannesburg, South Africa. My driving journey started off at the age of 12, when my dad told me to get in his Datsun 1400 bakkie and start driving between workshops to deliver parts. Before I knew it, at the age of 15 I found myself in the driver’s seat of my very own race car and I was participating in the BMW M Performance parts racing series. In the year 2016 I managed to win my first championship in the BMW M Performance parts racing series. At this stage, I was 18 years old and had also just been given the keys to my vehicle for the road. A few years later, I almost lost my life due to my own negligence on the road. Due to the fact I was a racing driver, I always thought that I could handle any driving scenario and that I knew my limits but on that one day, I was caught out. I was lucky enough to escape without any injury or damage to my vehicle, but it was at that moment that I realised I need to be the one to stop this from happening to our motorists. I promised that from that day onwards, I would be the one to make a difference and create a change in the motoring world and that is exactly what the Comprehensive Driving Solutions aims to do.
